Our shop and information centre has been set up not only to give guests the opportunity to buy local products, but above all to offer them the chance to known and appreciate our land through the products it offers.
In our shop you can buy and taste most of the products of small local producers linked to the tradition and heritage of the place. A central role is played by Etna DOC wines, which are present in the territory with more than 60 wineries, surrounded by the products of small companies, sometimes even family-owned, such as PDO cheeses, honey, Etna saffron, canned products cold cuts, and, especially, the Santoro production. The Santoro company was born from the passion for the Sicilian cooking tradition in order to revive the smells and the flavours of our generous land and of our ancient people. A full line of ready-made sauces, processed following traditional recipes, full of Mediterranean flavors.
We will be happy to welcome you with a free tasting of local products, but you can also choose between different options of full product tastings and wine tastings from our wine cellar with over 100 different types of wines.
Our multilingual staff will be happy to give you all the information about the products and their provenance to give you a complete overview of our area in terms of excursions, guided and DIY tours, local guides and various tourist services that can be booked with us or directly with the host. A free map of the area with all the addresses of producers, operators and sightseeing suggestions is available in our centre.
